Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage welcomes two students selected to attend the International Summer School for Youth and Heritage

Within the framework of the Arab Youth for Heritage initiative and in collaboration with the University of Bahrain and the UNESCO Chair for World Heritage and Sustainable Tourism Management in the Arab Region for Heritage in GUtech, Oman, four students have been selected to participate in the International Summer School for Youth and Heritage in Sarajevo, Bosnia, from 27 July to 12 August 2023.

Dr. Heba Aziz, director of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage, welcomed the participants from the University of Bahrain, Siraj Mohsen and Zainab Hussein, who were selected to participate in the international summer school. During their visit to ARC-WH, they toured the World Heritage Days exhibition to learn about the concept of World Heritage and the importance of preserving cultural and natural heritage, as well as the role of ARC-WH in supporting the 19 Arab States Parties in this field.
