World Heritage Committee Meeting Training for Journalists
The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage, together with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, organised a workshop on 13 May 2018 on the topic of the World Heritage Committee Meeting for Journalists.
The workshop, which was held at the Arab Regional Centre’s headquarters in Manama, Bahrain, discussed the World Heritage Convention including its main concepts and principles as well as the upcoming 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee Meeting, which will take place in Bahrain from 24 June to 4 July 2018. The regulations, website, side-events, and many other relevant points were covered in order to adequately prepare local journalists to this important cultural event.
