The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage announces winning films from the second edition of the My Heritage film competition

The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage is pleased to announce the winning films showcased during the film competition, My Heritage – Arab Youth for Heritage (second edition).  A total of 36 films were submitted, seven of which were winners from six countries. The winners are: 

Tipasa from Algeria 

Ya Mal from Bahrain 

Evidence of Egypt from Egypt 

Guardian of the Sumerian Kingdom from Iraq 

Um Sanman from Saudi Arabia  

Old Sana’a Symphony from Yemen 

Pail from Yemen 

The winners were invited to visit Al-Ahsa, in Saudi Arabia, to create a collaborative film and explore the World Heritage site of Al-Ahsa Oasis, an Evolving Cultural Landscape. During their stay, the winners were awarded by the governor, who also extended his thanks for the film’s production, which celebrated the beauty and uniqueness of the site.
