Sixth Annual Coordination Meeting of Category 2 Centres (C2Cs) and Institutes under the Auspices of UNESCO
ARC-WH attended the Sixth Annual Coordination Meeting of Category 2 Centres (C2Cs) and institutes under the Auspices of UNESCO from 10-15 February 2018. Category 2 Centres and institutes are located in several regions, and play an integral role by facilitating UNESCO’s strategic programmes and contribute by implementing the Organisation’s capacity building knowledge and research. ARC-WH presented and discussed the role and actions taken by ARC-WH in the Arab region. ARC-WH moderated a session that covered the operational frameworks of C2Cs. The meeting’s main objective was to discuss the strategies of C2Cs towards the conservation and protection of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
