Meeting Between ARC-WH and Lebanon’s Directorate General of Antiquities (DGA)
ARC-WH and the Directorate General of Antiquities (DGA) of Lebanon recently organised an online coordination meeting to discuss potential collaboration on the safeguarding and recovery of Beirut’s cultural heritage that was damaged from the blast in August 2020. Both institutions also discussed current efforts being undertaken by local and international partners on the ground.
Furthermore, discussions also included ways in which ARC-WH could provide support and facilitate technical assistance for the safeguarding and the recovery of Beirut’s cultural heritage.
