The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) concluded the Regional Workshop for Arab States on Impact Assessment in a World Heritage Context. The three-day workshop was held in collaboration between ARC-WH and the World Heritage Leadership Programme (WHL). More than 20 participants benefited from the workshop, including World Heritage site managers, experts, and specialists representing public and private ministries and institutions from the Arab states. They were introduced to the Toolkit for Impact Assessment in a World Heritage context, which they used on an imaginary project proposed in Qal’at al-Bahrain – Ancient Harbour and Capital of Dilmun site, one of the World Heritage sites in the Kingdom of Bahrain that was the case study of the workshop.
