Closing Ceremony of the First Phase of the Soqotra Heritage Project
Join us on Thursday, 6 February 2020 at 13:30 at the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage in Manama, Bahrain, for the Closing Ceremony of the First Phase of the Soqotra Heritage Project.
The project was launched in 2018 through a partnership programme funded by British Council and implemented in collaboration with Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Centre for Middle Eastern Plants and Freie Universität Berlin.
The ceremony will present the conclusion of the first phase of the Socotra Heritage Project which focused on the extensive documentation and recording of Socotra’s rich and unique tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
The event will be in English and Arabic and is open to the public.
