The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) launched the second edition of “World Heritage Sites in the Arab Countries” at its premises in Manama, Bahrain, on 16 March 2022. Her Excellency Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Governing Board of ARC-WH, inaugurated the second edition of the book in the presence of a number of Arab ambassadors and the Heritage Commission under the Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia. The noted photographer, Jean-Jacques Gelbart, also attended the ceremony, which concluded with a short film that showcased all of the sites captured by Gelbart.
