My Heritage competition is part of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage’s initiative “Arab Youth for Heritage”. This competition provides youth with an opportunity to tell different stories centered on World Heritage sites in the Arab region through the production of a short film. The competition encourages youth to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of World Heritage Sites and to build a stronger relationship with them by highlighting heritage and its role in influencing their lives on the tangible and intangible level. In its second edition, The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage in cooperation with the Heritage Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
