The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH), the World Heritage Centre (WHC) and the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Sciences in the Arab States located in Cairo organised a regional meeting for World Heritage Site Managers on the implementation of the Third Cycle of the Periodic Reporting Exercise in Cairo, Egypt from 26 to 27 March 2019. The meeting was attended by World Heritage Site Managers from the following State Parties: Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain, as well as Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan and Sudan.

Participants were familiarized with the Periodic Reporting Exercise in its Third Cycle. They were assisted in filling in the questionnaire’s Section II, which is dedicated to collecting information about World Heritage properties.
