The five-day workshop included 19 participants from 12 countries (Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Palestine,  Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, and Yemen), including World Heritage site managers from the Arab region.​

To ensure continuity, ARCWH offered a series of online meetings to work with the participants on their site-specific risk and disaster management actions. ​
11 participants of the 19 continued with the training and attended four online meetings to discuss their suggested action plan with the experts. ​
