The workshop on ‘Climate Action for World Heritage: Advanced Workshop on Risk Management in World Heritage Sites in the Arab States Region’, which was held from March 5 to 9, is the second workshop in a joint training programme between the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM). It aimed to strengthen risk management leadership for World Heritage sites in the Arab Region. The second workshop provided 10 participants with knowledge about climate change and approaches to its management, the existing tools to assess its risk and methods for mitigation and adaptation.
