The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage Welcomes Students from the Quality Education School

The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) invited Quality Education School students on the 7 and 9 of November 2022 to its premises in Manama. ARC-WH introduced the students to the concept of World Heritage and the importance of preserving cultural and natural heritage. The strategic role of the Centre was also discussed, as were some of the initiatives that target Arab youth, such as the launch of the ‘My Heritage’ film campaign to learn more about conserving heritage. The students were then taken on a tour through the ‘World Heritage Days’ exhibition, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of ARC-WH and the 50th anniversary of the 1972 World Heritage Convention.

During the second visit, ARC-WH organised a treasure hunt for the students to encourage their curiosity and knowledge about World Heritage facts that they learned from the presentation and the exhibition tour.
