The workshop targeted Arab youth between the ages of 18-28 years old, living within or nearby a World Heritage site. Mr Oliver Wilkins, an Emmy award-winning director, led the workshop that focused on a number of themes on how to create a captivating video and inviting narrative about their featured World Heritage site by using their smartphones and cameras.

Participants will have until 1 August 2022 to submit their short films to ARC-WH. From the films submitted, five winners will be selected. The winning contestants will then be invited to attend an in-person editing session in Manama, Bahrain, at ARC-WH’s premises, led by Mr Wilkins from 24-26 September 2022. Their films will also be presented to the public during ARC-WH’s week-long event, World Heritage Days, on 27 September 2022 to celebrate and showcase their efforts and their hard work.
