International Day of Islamic Art
Join the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) on 25 November to commemorate the International Day of Islamic Art. The webinar will focus on the main influence Islamic Art had on Historic Cities.
Proclaimed during the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference in 2019, the International Day of Islamic Art celebrates and raises awareness on the importance of past and contemporary artistic expressions of Islam, as well as Islamic Art’s contribution to cultural diversity, protection and promotion of cultural heritage and intercultural dialogue.
The webinar will begin at 12 PM (Bahrain time, GMT+3) on 25 November 2020 and is open to the public.
