Participation in IUCN World Conservation Congress
ARC-WH provided its input at the IUCN World Conservation Congress (WCC) during a workshop on the topic of ‘World Heritage Upstream Processes and Beyond: Promoting Creative Approaches to Strengthen the Implementation of the World Heritage Convention’ that took place on 5 September 2016, at the International Convention Centre in Honolulu, Hawai’i, USA. The objective of the workshop was to share lessons and experiences related to Upstream Processes, as well as other ways in which the Advisory Bodies could support State Parties towards the implementation of the World Heritage Convention and develop a set of recommendations.
