A symposium on museums and communities was organised by ARC-WH in order to highlight the important role that museums play in societies and in World Heritage sites. The symposium keynote speakers were Michael Conforti from the Clark Museum, ICOM Director Anne-Catherine Robert-Hauglustaine, and Bernard Fonquernie, Chief Architect and Honorary Inspector General of Historic Monuments in France.
