The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage hosts the exhibition and lecture on Modern Heritage in the Arab world

On 12 February 2019, the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage launched an exhibition on the Heritage of Urban and Architectural Modernity in the Arab world, at its premises in Manama, Bahrain. The exhibition presents an overview of the heritage of modern architecture in the Arab region belonging to the twentieth century and reviews some of the most prominent architectural examples from various Arab countries.
The exhibition was created in cooperation with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the National Council for Cultures, Arts and Letters in Kuwait, and the Arab Centre for Architecture in Lebanon, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of modern heritage as a testament to the evolution of human thought as reflected in modern architecture.
