Supporting the World Heritage Volunteers programme
The Tabe’a Programme arranged a one-day birdwatching event on 12 November 2016 alongside the World Heritage Volunteers Programme (WHV) that took place at the inscribed UNESCO World Heritage site, Qala’at Al-Bahrain. The event targeted a group of youth from various countries who participated in the World Heritage Volunteers Programme 2016, which was coordinated by the Good Word Society.
The goal of the programme was to demonstrate the importance of natural heritage and birds by using live examples to acquire their support and advocacy for natural heritage conservation.
