The Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH), together with Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), organised a workshop on 13 May 2018 on the topic of the World Heritage Committee Meeting for Journalists.

The workshop, which was held at ARC-WH premises in Manama, Bahrain, discussed the World Heritage Convention, including its main concepts and principles, as well as the 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee Meeting, which took place in Bahrain from 24 June to 4 July 2018. The regulations, website, side events, and many other relevant points were covered in order to adequately prepare local journalists for this important cultural event.
