Following the capacity building programme between ICOMOS and ARC-WH with the aim of strengthening the capacities of heritage professionals in the Arab Region, some professionals from the First workshop held in December 2018 were called upon to provide assistance for desk reviews by ICOMOS and will be collaborating with the Advisory Bodies on technical evaluation and reactive monitoring missions.

Furthermore, In December 2019, a second workshop was designed to provide 15 participants from 4 francophone-speaking countries with the knowledge and expertise required in the field of World Heritage.
