Continuing the first HIA-EIA workshop that was organized in September 2018 in Muscat, Oman, 16 practitioners from 9 Arab States of Cultural, Natural and Mixed World Heritage sites were invited to improve their knowledge on Impact Assessment concepts in the field of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention.

The sites of Byblos (World Heritage site) and Anfeh (preparing to be inscribed on the World Heritage tentative list) served as case studies for the workshop.
