On 21 February 2022, ARC-WH successfully convened its 11th Governing Board meeting held online. During the meeting, the board members discussed and praised several endeavours, including the six publications produced during 2021 despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic. The translation of many documents into Arabic, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) policy guidelines, was also commended. The meeting also marked the 10th anniversary of ARC-WH since its establishment in 2012 in Manama, Bahrain. The Centre celebrated its many achievements over the last decade, including the training of more than 1,689 participants in the field of heritage conservation.
