Due to the restrictions caused by the prevailing pandemic of coronavirus, an advanced online workshop was conducted in December 2020 as a follow-up to the previous two workshops held in December 2018 (Bahrain) and December 2019 (Rabat).

This advanced-level workshop invited the participants of the previous two workshops to various online sessions. It focused on deepening their understanding of the concepts and tools in use under the World Heritage Convention while exploring gaps and topics that were identified from the previous workshop.
