In partnership with the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and the International Scientific Committee on Earthen Architectural Heritage (ICOMOS-ISCEAH), the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH) organised an exhibition on “Heritage of Earthen Architecture in the Arab States”, held at its premises in Manama, Bahrain.

The exhibition showcased the unique earthen structures of the region. It examined the diversity and richness, threats and deterioration, and potential for future protection mechanisms towards safeguarding the heritage of earthen architecture.
