Contribution to the Master Programme (MSc) in Conservation and Management of Cultural Heritage (second cycle)
On 25 November 2020, ARC-WH was asked to contribute to the second cycle of students of the Master programme (MSc) in Conservation Management of Cultural Heritage. The programme was implemented by ICCROM-Sharjah and the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
ARC-WH’s intervention for the module on World Heritage aimed to educate and provide first-year master’s students with a comprehensive understanding and overview of the World Heritage Convention mechanisms, its implementation, the Convention’s main goals, as well as the stakeholders involved. ARC-WH also introduced the students to the Operational Guidelines and expanded upon the document’s contents and uses, as well as how the World Heritage Convention is implemented through the Guidelines.
