In celebration of the International Day of Islamic Arts the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage hosted a lecture by the Saudi architect Dr. Sami Angawi. he disscussed the Islamic architecture, including how to use its traditional patterns and to inspire its purposes and aesthetics in modern ways were disscussed with a presentation of several models of his work in the construction of several buildings in the style of Islamic Hijazi architecture.​
